Converting Files to PDF

A PDF is a universal file format that is readable and printable from any computer and transferable across computer platforms. PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed and printed exactly as intended by anyone with the free Acrobat Reader software. A PDF file can be published and distributed in print, attached to an email, uploaded on corporate servers, saved to a CD-ROM and posted on Web sites.

Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Under File, click Save As.
Under Format, scroll down and select Acrobat PDF.
Choose a folder to save file in.
Click Save.

QuarkXpress
Under File, click Print.
Click Printer.
Under Destination, scroll down and select File.
Click Save.
Choose folder to save file in.
Click Print.
Open Acrobat Distiller from your hard drive.
Under File, open the file you have just saved.
Choose folder to save file in.
Click Save.
